Hannya wip by deadhorseart Hannya wip by deadhorseart
This is the middle part of a Japanese themed triptych commision I am doing, it also happens to be my 1st hannya mask drawing, I think I'm doing pretty good so far!

If anyone has some helpful critiques I would be over the moon!

I really feel as though I could use a hand with this one !

Thanks yeah I always thought Hannya masks looked far too masculine so I looked up the history behind it and it's actually representative to a demonic woman so I studied the differences in skull anatomy and facial anatomy between men and women to make it seem a bit more feminine just put my own spin on it. It's actually a mock design on a Triptych set I'm doing on commission for a friend, it will have the hannya mask as the center piece and a male and female samurai on either side, should look good once its all done.

YEh it definatly has that feminine look to it, I couldnt get it down on my demon style oni so I just went with a male one xD
